Author: aussiehinz With remarkable spring weather and the cruise ship/tourist season just underway, fellow TO member "Circus" and I spent a most enjoyable week in Alaska. We found an abundance of trains and many interesting power combinations as we both rode and chased the Alaska Railroad across its service territory between Fairbanks and Seward. Met some fine folks along the way and thoroughly enjoyed Alaska's beauty and hospitality. If you haven't been, put it on your list of things to shoot for.
