3 RCPE Blue & Golds headed to Arizona & Eastern

We set out RCP&E SD40-2 locomotives 6406, 6444 and 6429 to the BNSF interchange at Wolsey, SD this morning. The three locomotives are on long term lease to Arizona & Eastern railway and will travel via the BNSF and finally UP to Lordsburg, NM. The locomotives are traveling "boxcar'ed" meaning no my cables, no other hoses attached, just traveling like a regular rail car. 

Photos were taken of our power the evening before.

Are these meant to supplement or replace part of AZER's B40-8 locomotive fleet?
