Western Railroad Discussion > MOW Army Has Landed Again Plus The Military

 Today was a warm humid partly cloudy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 83-55. The MoW army has been working in the area for several weeks and has desended on Ritzville socking in the West end of the yard, making it hard to take pictures from the backyard this weekend. Here are some of the trains that rolled by last evening and today.

1. WB 642pm stack train with BNSF 5301-6250 on the point.
2. EB 658pm coal train with BNSF 6423-8463-5938 on the pull with DPU.
3. WB 712pm military train with BNSF 8163-8021 on the point.

13. WB 111pm work train with BNSF 9222-6202 on the pull at Bauman Rd. with a friendly toot-toot from the hogger. Train will be parked in Ritzville yard for the weekend.

I've had a couple of Orange trains pass by after the military train, but didn't take pictures.

hmm, those switch panels were unloaded somewhere between you and me, possibly Sprague. That second military train was mostly ammo in 20' containers. I was down at the yard all day working on our locomotive.
