Santa Fe Southern

Is there any recent news regarding the Santa Fe Southern?  I was also wondering how they interchanged what little freight traffic they generated after the BNSF quit service on the Raton line. Did they have trackage rights to Alberquerque?

I was in the area a few months ago and they were completely shut down.

BNSF ran to Lamy when there was business.

BNSF road switcher out of Albuquerque is symbol-ed M-LMYLMY1-XXA and runs two to three days a week. While it is scheduled to run all the way to Lamy, it's probably been about two years since it went east of Bernalillo. Santa Fe Southern's last freight customer was a beer distributor which switched to trucks.
