Louisville & Indiana Trackwork Info Needed

 I am planning to railfan the Louisville & Indiana this fall but I am concerned about the possibility of all day maintenance curfews.I know CSX is involved with upgrading the line and a lot of trackwork is being done. Can someone tell me if trains are running and perhaps wager a guess about what may be going on come October?
I'd hate to make the trip from New Jersey only to end up photographing a ballast tamper!
