of those operations on the 60 miles of leased UP trackage along with other new industries and they are making many track and operations improvements to the line. exprail Date: 10/10/15 09:57 Re: BNSF and "frac" sand Author: NebraskaZephyr The U.S. Silica facility at Ottawa, IL USED to be an on-line customer for CB&Q/BN/BNSF but the Montgomery-Ottawa-Streator line was spun off to Illinois RailNet, now Illinois Railway, part of the OmniTrax family.
Think BNSF regrets spinning off the line? I don't. They're still getting the line haul on all this traffic without the expense of switching the customer and building the trains. NZ |
