Western Railroad Discussion > A Few from FridayDate: 02/13/16 04:29 A Few from Friday Author: rrartist Friday dawned clear and cold as I ventured out and headed north towards Winona MN where I first caught the Empire Builder flying through Homer. I then crossed back over to the Wisconsin side and headed for Alma Where I caught the BNSF V NTWNSI running as the CSXT 972. Man, was it cold on that bridge by the Lock & Dam! I decided to move further south towards Fountain City and the Merrick State Park overpass where I caught the BNSF 3932 leading the Q CHCSSE.
   Date: 02/13/16 04:35 Re: A Few from Friday Author: rrartist The next train featured a happy Hogger giving me plenty of ACE whistle and a generous wave, BNSF 9270 and Andrew lead the H NTWTUL eastward towards La Crosse. It was time to head home myself and as I crossed back into Winona I heard CP 280 calling out for Goodview, I checked to see what this train might have, well I waited at Dakota for the BNSF 6642 - NS 8105, Not much traffic, but I was content!
