Western Railroad Discussion > It's a Coal Kind of Day...Date: 05/02/16 16:07 It's a Coal Kind of Day... Author: FrontRangeTrains Even though the coal business is down a lot, the sight of a coal train is always welcomed. Today, I took advantage of the sunny weather we had and chased a coal empty along BNSF's Front Range Subdivision between Denver and Cheyenne.

What prompted BNSF to run this coal empty up the Front Range instead of via Sydney? Best regards, and thanks in advance, Rob L. |
