The story does not state what position his wife had with UP.

They must have been totally overcone with smoke preventing them to evacuate. So very very sad.

She eventually moved over to HQ. Mike was a fantastic guy to work with and well respected by all. The entire family works for UP.

Date: 10/24/16 07:56 Re: Sad news. 2 UP employees and their 4 children die in house f Author: Copy19 The local NBC affiliate, WOWT news, is reporting this morning that authorites have determined the cause of the fire was embers/ashes from the living room fireplace igniting the carpet and nearby furnishings. The cause of death of the family was smoke inhalation.
