Total Terminals Long Beach

Hyundia Merchant Marine and MSC have jointly made a bid for Total Terminals which includes Pier T Long Beach andTerminal 46 Seattle. MCS already owns 50% of the operation.

It is interesting to me why MSC is taking Hyundia as a partner in this operation.

Hyundia also annouced it will operate it's own service in the Tranpacific trade not participating in any alliance
