Western Railroad Discussion > 20 Minutes at Commerce CADate: 01/20/17 20:53 20 Minutes at Commerce CA Author: erielackawanna Sometimes you'll stop at a busy locaiton and give it two or three hours and still come up empty. Sometimes you get three movements in twenty minutes. Had the latter this past Saturday January 14.
First image is a light engine move with a CitiRail Gevo, an H1 Dash 9, a C4, an H2 Dash 9, and an AC4400CW. The H1 and AC are quite rare for SoCal. Second image is an outbound stack with a CitiRail as its third unit. Third image is a light movement heading down to Watson with the lucky (?) quadruple seven bringing up the markers. I was about to say none of the Citirail's lease units have been washed since arrival. But the second one in the second train sure looks spiffy. Jason Date: 01/21/17 06:17 Re: 20 Minutes at Commerce CA Author: 3rdswitch Nice bunch, dirtiest Citi I have seen yet.
JB Date: 01/21/17 06:52 Re: 20 Minutes at Commerce CA Author: PHall I see AC's on stack trains all of the time these days. Seems like if it's a GE and it's orange you'll see it on a stack train.
