Only 6 Trains Since 1109am Yesterday On The BNSF
Author: Ritzville

It was a Cold Drippy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 36-33 and .14 of rain with snow flakes. Due to weather problems there was not a train all night. I slept thru the first train at 650am and then caught the only 5 trains for today so far. There are two more WB's on the way, but will probably be too dark for pictures. All sidings are full with tied down trains. Not sure when things will be back to normal with more rain on the way. Here are my five catches from today and all Orange. Beggers can't be choosey today, lol.

1. EB 847am grain train with BNSF 6613-H1 1103 on the point with DPU.
2. DPU BNSF 6545 on smae train.
3. EB 1101am "Z" train with BNSF 5234-5512-5531-5405 on the pull.

5. EB 1112am grain train with BNSF 6195-8217-7258 on the pull, no DPU.
6. WB 339pm grain train with BNSF 4249-5070 on the point with DPU's.

7. DPU's BNSF 8071-4898 on same train.
8. WB 413pm grain train with BNSF 7631-7570 on the point with DPU.
9. DPU BNSF 6053 on same train.

That's it for another quiet traffic day. Hope everyone is having a safe weekend, especially in rain soaked California. Thank you so much for looking!

Larry

BNSF scheduled a work window in the washout (?) area near Connell between 1100 and 1800.

I've noticed BNSF is starting to move trains WB out of sidings in CP Tokio, Keystone and Sprague. Might be a busy night after two nights of no traffic.
