UP Priority Intermodal taking Priority Speed at Shawmut

UP 6508 West is leading the KSILB-11 (Priority Intermodal-Santa Teresa, NM-Long Beach) with the following UP 5020, UP 8382 with DPU: UP 6911.  This was the first time I see a train this Shawmut this quickly, he was definitly moving along!  There's a total of 8 Pictures and the 1 Video at the end.

Another NICE series! Enjoyed the video. The hogger was moving right along on that grade. The 6911 was looking a little funky though. Also like the sky color.

Great video and pics! I've been really enjoying your posts from the Sunset Route, especially the shots from Shawmut. I was out there for the first time in November and want to go back soon. Keep up the fun posts!

Nice lighting and good to see the 6900s still out running.  They are a little faded, but it is nice to see non-flag units.

anybody know how many trains originate/terminate at that new santa teresa terminal just w/of el paso?

The western area trains are the KLBSI (TuFr) and KSILB (ThSuMo).  Per Andrew [TO's florida581], the eastern area train is the ZSIG4 (TuTh) on the days that ZTUG4 doesn't run.  He notes that the SI terminal is more of a setout/pick up location.
