Warbonnet Duo in Kansas
Author: bnsfsd70

Last Sunday evening, I was able to catch the M-KCKEMP with this great-looking pair of ATSF C44-9W's in charge. This is in Lakeview, KS, just northwest of Lawrence on the Topeka Sub, and it would be my only shot of this train, as I'd later head into Lawrence to hang with some other railfans at the trackside watering hole, Frank's Northstar Tavern.

Thanks for looking,
- Jeff Carlson

Nice Shot!  Looks like the Warbonnet is right at home with the SearchLight and Telegraph Poles to the left of it.

All that is missing is the angle irons on the rails. Pretty cool photo bro!

Sadly, the paint on the nose of 670 isn't so great looking. :-(
