UP & BNSF Symbols Feather River Canyon

What train symbols operate on the Feather Canyon these days? A few UP west bounds and BNSF to Keddie and the HiLine? Thanks for the information.

UP symbols would be ANPMI, MNPRV and whatever unit trains (grain, coal and ethanol) are running west. The OWWCJ (dirt trains) from the Bay Area run east about once-a-week. No idea on the BNSF trains running via the IG route.

The BNSF I see on a regular basis include the BARPAS and on the return trip, the PASBAR- Barstow ca-Pasco Wa.

BARVAW and it's return trip the VAWBAR- Barstow-Vancouver, Wa.

Sometimes there is a southbound for Riverbank,Ca although I'm not really sure where it's from and how often it runs. And then various grain trains and bare tables to/from Seattle. 4-8 trains per 24 hours by my counts.

UP has 2-6 per day with the regular trains being the MNPRV, and MNPRVB.
Coal, grain and autos on as needed basis.

The MNPRVBs haven't run since last year, just the MNPRVs now, which sometimes get VERY BIG.

Correct, and I thought they've been gone even longer, but maybe not. I've seen a couple MNPRVXs as well, but in general, they run monster MNPRVs.

I believe the symbol for the Barstow - Vancouver, WA manifest is now H BARPAW and the Barstow - Pasco manifest is now H BARPAE.

That's my understanding.  H BARPAW2 (normally "2" would mean a 2nd section, but I haven't seen a "1st" section like H BARPAW1).
H BARPAE1 for Pasco.

So would that mean their counterparts are now the PAWBAR and PAEBAR?

It was still the H VAWBAR1 as of 5/6/17.  I haven't noticed an H PASBAR1 since 2015, but the symbol is probably unchanged.
