Western Railroad Discussion > End of an era in WilliamsfieldDate: 07/16/17 12:30 End of an era in Williamsfield Author: Contax645 Today is the last day for the searchlights and cantilevers on the BNSF Chillicothe Sub. at Williamsfield, Illinois.
Here we view a eastbound rolling out of a storm and through the Williamsfield plant prior to cut-over work beginning this morning. Another set of classic searchlights and cantilevers almost gone. However some remain in service at Yost, Edelstein, Chillicothe, Toluca and Verona, Illinois...for now. Happy foaming..
