Museum of Alaska Transportation and Industry - Wasilla, Alaska
Author: trainjunkie

This weekend I’ve been putting my office space back together after killing and cleaning up a nasty black mold invasion I had in the corner of a closet here courtesy of the damp and rainy weather we’ve had in Anchorage this summer. In the process I started sorting through some files on my computer to archive them and I realized that I never posted this set that I took last summer at the Museum of Alaska Transportation and Industry in Wasilla, Alaska.

I’ve been trying to post images from the various museums I’ve been able to visit the past few years in my travels but weirdly enough, I didn’t visit the one nearest me until my kids came up to visit last summer from California. So continuing the tradition of photo posts from previously visited museums, here are a few from last July here in Alaska. For those interested in the series, here are a few of the most recent previous museum visits I’ve posted.

Inland NW Rail Museum - Reardan, WA: https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,4133529

Very interesting. Thanks for posting these great photos. Like all museums though, you would like to see more equipment under cover, especially with the weather they experience there.
