Western Railroad Discussion > This week on the AERCDate: 11/08/17 17:28 This week on the AERC Author: shay2305 Here are a couple of pictures from the Albany and Eastern Railroad near Lebanon, OR.
After returning from Corvallis in late August the AERC 1750, GP9, has received some light maintenance and has recently made some trips out on the line. Yesterday, 11/7, 1750 made a round trip to Mill City to switch Freres Lumber in Mill City. The first photo is 1750 in Lyons, OR on the return trip. Today 1750 was MUed to SD9 5399. Together the two siblings made a trip to Sweet Home, OR to retrieve a group of flat cars from storage. The second photo is 1750 and 5399 in Sweet Home prior to the return trip. Thanks for looking. Totally agree that this is how locomotives should look. It is hard to beat an SP Gyralite package. Great Stuff! Date: 11/09/17 07:26 Re: This week on the AERC Author: BNSF-6432 Love it!
