Port Terminal's North Yard in Houston (Part One)
Author: erielackawanna

While in Houston a bit over a week ago, spent some time on both my days at Port Terminal Railway Association's North Yard. This post is of the morning of Tuesday, April 3. Lucked out in that three jobs were shootable in the brief time I had to hang out there. If anyone can help with symbols on these, I'm one of those who collects symbols in his notes and I'd love to add them.

Image one is of a UP Gevo switching on one track while a pair of MK1500Ds switches next to them.

Image two is of a job that sat at the end of the yard, I believe waiting to go east, the whole time I was there. That being said, I had to leave before seeing where they were going.

Image three is of a job with the heritage unit coming in from Manchester Yard.

Images four and five are a couple roster grabs of the heritage unit.

Image six is of the transfer job pulling into North Yard.

Image seven is of the same switch job in image one, now pulling past the job at the south (east) end of the yard).
