Alaska Railroad - Around The Shop - Anchorage

A few from April 2009

All are around the Anchorage Shop

1. Former Amtrak F40PH 244 is now a power car in the form of AKRR #31

2. The fuel rack area with 4317 a "HEP Mac" and MP15 #1551

3. In the back shop on this day it looks "retro" as the 3007 and 3001 both in the old scheme are in for some work.

4. 3001 sits out on the north end of the roundhouse side of the shop, probably after getting a 92 day inspection or air brake 1104 work.

5. The 4001 comes in, probably the morning arrival from Fairbanks with the Chugach Range as a back drop.
