Author: slacks Near LaCrosse Wis I saw this oil train tied down awaiting a new crew. Years ago this line was the haunt of BN F-45,s and after the BNSF merger ATSF cowl units or Big F,s as we called them. Hoards of goat boats now rule, but then something like this will show up. I,am sure the crew coming will not be happy to see this oddball on the point. Soon enough CN will aquire new power and these throwbacks will fade away!

Author: jointauthority Don’t worry I won’t, I am working on getting all UP heritage SD70ACes from being banned from use as lead locomotives though. They’re non isolated cab locomotives but their numbers aren’t listed in the rule yet.

Besides that most UP engines I’ve been on are disgusting inside, so I don’t want them in the lead anyway, and having the heritage units banned from leading trains would be hilarious.
