Past Weekend on the Seligman
Author: RayLewis

Photo 1 - About 8 minutes before the super glint light, the eastbound ZLACWSP9-29 across Audley on the BNSF Seligman subdivision in Northern Arizona. We got one more after this, but sadly the next train was about 4 minutes too late...this shot yielded the best result. The road to the right is the famous Route 66. This view requires about a 25 minute hike up to the base of the Aubrey Cliffs.
Shot taken on 29 June 2018.
Photo 2 - As the HKCKBAR1-25 heads downhill into Cherokee, a short HBARLUB1-30 led by BNSF 7937 climbs up Cherokee towards Yampai Canyon and Peach Springs.  Photo taken on 30 June 2018.

Very Nice Ray!  Was busy with ATCS Monitoring work this past weekend, so didn't see any trains.  Glad to see you got some!  Have a Safe and Happy 4th!

You too. Hope it works out for ya. I use the scanner up North for now for ATCS. But looks like you guys are doing well on that front. Cant imagine what kind of work and money that takes. I just wish there was a better way for me to xmit it to my phone. Works fine if I have someone with me that has verizon. No other cell service works much between Pica and Valentine.enjoy your 4th as well!

Spgoletablock..thank you. Good job on the Cajon stuff. Took long enough before someone started venturing in the hills...looks like you are slaying the shots.

Thx, Ray. There are a handful of railroad/landscape photographers that I idolize and you are definitely in that group. Have a great Holiday! Jeff Perry

Thanks Ray!  For the Seligman Sub, we are planning on going to Trainmon5 with the use of my Router.  Maybe that will help.

#1 = Wow. Stunning. One of the best sunset shots I've seen.
