Western Railroad Discussion > Rock N Roll near Mt Shasta this morningDate: 09/22/18 12:59 Rock N Roll near Mt Shasta this morning Author: photobob I saw this rock train go by my house this morning and since I had to do a few chores in Mt Shasta I took chase. The weather up here is finally getting that Fall feel to it with clear sky's and no smoke. Does any one know where this train came from and where its going?

Constant ROW re-alignments and re-leveling have been part of that scene since forever. These are pretty good size pebbles... maybe they are going to try something different.

The most known area is of course between T16 and T17 at "the slide". There is also an area about a mile "south" of Fields (MP 553) that has also been moving slowly. Then there is also an area north of T18 that is even more unstable and has slid multiple times in the past. While I don't think anything has happened this might be a preventive move.
