Western Railroad Discussion > More After Dark UP Heritage - MoPac editionDate: 10/11/18 12:16 More After Dark UP Heritage - MoPac edition Author: TexBob It only took 6 hours, and some spousal stinkeye that I'll receive later today, but I was able
to catch 2 shots of UP 1982 on the MLIHO 10 on it's approach to Englewood earlier today. It departed Beaumont around 1800 last night. It made it to Liberty by 2100. Where it sat for an hour until the DS was ready for it. I caught it at Hatchery at 2239. It then sat at Fauna for 2 1/2 more hours until the DS, and a patch crew, moved it to T87. I'm typically not this persistent, but this was the only UP heritage engine I hadn't flashed. Here it is crossing Green's Bayou in far Northeast Houston at 0102 this morning. Thanks. Gary Date: 10/11/18 14:09 Re: More After Dark UP Heritage - MoPac edition Author: endmrw Thanks for enduring the "stinkeye" and long hours. We here live in Old MOP territory. In fact the town is named after. Jay Gould and JW Paramore. Paragould Arkansas. The two lines crossed here creating the town. Beautiful picture. One Operation Lifesaver they had both MP and SP engines on each end of the consist, in honor of our hown. endmrw1011181609
