Western Railroad Discussion > Battleship

Since a recent post had an older caboose with graffiti, I am going to take a chance and post this. My caution is, some are upset by the defacing of RR cars.  
Around these parts there is much rice grown and this hopper would appear every once in a while. It was a big deal.  “Battleship” is here again. 
It was SSW but I don’t recall the car number.  One thing about some taggers, they do not cover important data on the car.  Not in this case.
Question:  Has anyone seen this car.  The photo was in 1999 at Brookland, AR being spotted at the Bush Elevator.  Mike endmrw0209191442

Cool scene.  Grafitti does have a shelf life.  I doubt the picture has lasted 20 years even if the car was not repainted.   I have several great shots that are past their prime.  Taggers do repeat or have a signature picture.  It may not be the only Battleship.  Thanks for posting.

I think microtrains did a car with this seen on it in N Scale.
