Possible derailment in a tunnel, still no official confirmation. Likely the line is open by now but #7 is waiting on a relief crew - or maybe they're putting the crew up at the Izaak Walton Inn for eight hours before continuing. It's a long way from both the Shelby and Spokane crew bases.

Like many railroad passes sometimes mother nature and unexpected events will just rear up and kick you in the ass and you can't do a thing about it. |
