Western Railroad Discussion > DMVW Grab Shot in SunshineDate: 03/11/19 11:32 DMVW Grab Shot in Sunshine Author: bmarti7 After a winter storm last Saturday, dumping 10 inches of new white on Bismarck, -7 F actual temp and freezing fog at sunrise this morning, and multiple days of gray, the sun came through around 10:30 am. While running my noon-time errands, the crossing signals started flashing and the gates came down. There was no time to open the camera bag - only time for a cellphone grab shot through the windshield. The DMVW 5544 north, a SD60F still in CN colors, leads a local out of Bismarck, Note the nice "flocking" on the evergreens and the height of the snow drift and the south side of the building across the tracks. Thanks for looking.
Blessings to all BB Date: 03/11/19 17:09 Re: DMVW Grab Shot in Sunshine Author: Quakerengr Fantastic, looking fluffy up there!!!

The unit's color makes it look warmer outside, lol. Snowed another three inches today and is still snowing.
