…did the sun find a hole in the clouds at daybreak on Saturday morning!

After ‘rounding the horn’ at Corvallis Junction, Portland + Western’s “Westsider” heads north with 27 cars, headed for Whiteson and McMinnville.
The train is coming off of the Toledo branch and onto the West Side branch.

For those not familiar with the area, this is in western Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

Nice to see all of the power in the orange & black livery. For years so many P&W locos looked like junkers.
