This evening's on-line New York Times has an article about how much of the Illinois, Arkansas, and Mississippi are closed due to too much water and have been for weeks.
There is also damage to port facilities reported.
They cited some managers of fertilizer firms as having to resort to "more expensive options like rail and highway".
Bad news for the economy and consumer prices but maybe an uptick in rail freight.

And yet another hit on the farmers. Not a good time for them.

Missouri river is closed as well.
