This outcome was expected. The former owner bought out the assets of the blackjewel company. Eagle Butte and Bel-Ayr in Wyoming. It's unclear how quickly the mines will re-open, and how many people will be recalled.

The eastern mine whose employees blocked rail traffic is being purchased by a different, and apparenly unrelated company
