One Foggy Morning in West Salem WI - 23 Years Ago

The morning was cool and damp, birds and crickets were singing, the sun dances with the fog, soon a roar is to heard to the west, straining locomotives fighting wet rail and the 20000 tons of Wyoming's finest tied onto the drawbars. BN 7126 and a Columbia (WI) bound coal train crawl by. ATSF 8148 in her proposed wedding dress splits the Cascade Green consist. Into the fog they go as they conquer West Salem Hill, 23 years ago.
