Western Railroad Discussion > PTC Test Train to TexasDate: 09/02/19 14:37 PTC Test Train to Texas Author: bnsfsd70 This morning, I got out to shoot a rather interesting move. This was the O-TOPPLX1-02, a PTC test train that was headed to Plainview, TX via Wellington. The train is really two test trains in one, as they will be splitting them, and testing Virtual Blocks with PTC.
The consist was as follows: BNSF 4534 Santa Fe Fred Harvey BNSF 6432 BNSF 6360 Mountain View BNSF 6426 Photo 1: Topeka, at the Shops on 8/30/2019 Photo 2: Here, it's seen running railroad-west through Burlingame, KS, MP 77 on the Topeka Sub Photo 3: Passing under I-35 in Emporia Thanks for looking, - Jeff Carlson Date: 09/02/19 14:40 Re: PTC Test Train to Texas Author: bnsfsd70 Finally, here's some video of the test train rolling through Burlingame, KS this morning. Certainly a new one for me!

Regarding the speeds, I didn't hear any slow orders given, but it was going surprisingly slow coming into Emporia. - Jeff Carlson JoCoLB Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How did you beat him from Burlingame to Emporia? > Did he have some slow orders? They were probably testing the PTC that was making him go slow. Bob Krieger Cheyenne, WY Date: 09/06/19 08:50 Re: PTC Test Train to Texas Author: jayb61 overpowered lol
