However with all the work done to lengthen passing sidings on the Baird and Toyah subs to the west they are becoming less of a factor and still work is ongoing to extend more sidings.. And some new sidings have also been added. I under stand there will not be any that won't clear a 9,000 ft train. Some like the one in Eastland on the Baird sub which used to be 6,997 ft is now 14,150.ft.
