UP Big Boy in Kansas

On Tuesday, November 19 at about 11:35 am, I was fortunate to record a video of Union Pacific engine 4014 passing through Midland, Kansas.  Midland is about 4 miles timetable west of Lawrence, Kansas.  I photographed trains in the same area about 50 years ago when I was a student at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.  I certainly never expected to see a Big Boy type travelling the same line.

I know that location well!  I spent plenty of time there during my tenure at KU as well.
