Big Boy crowd pleaser
Author: santafe199

In a scene surely repeated many dozens of times in the past two months, UP 4014 rolls over Main St in Oakley*, KS. Right into an aura of mass-adulation. It's cinch that the passage of this Big ol' Boy is a first time/last time, once-in-a-lifetime event for most of this crowd! And the collective excitement must have pushed the ambient temperature up a degree or two... :^)

1. UP 4014 crosses Main St in Oakley, KS on November 22, 2019.
(Picasa photo-editing. *Location originally thought to be Grainfield, corrected to Oakley)

Thanks for looking!

Grainfield, Kansas looked a lot like Oakley, Kansas that day.

Aha... so it was. Thanks for the correction. So much for keeping notes, on the run, with one hand on the wheel... :^)
