Western Railroad Discussion > Not all low light photos hafta be taken at night.Date: 05/08/20 22:40 Not all low light photos hafta be taken at night. Author: DonWinslow Here's an example of a low light photo after sunup. Heavy shadows can give you plenty of low light while bright sun can give the contrast between the high/low light source. Shot taken in the Cajon Pass at Cozy Dell. .

Author: DonWinslow You are right and due to health issues I'm stuck with no travel so I gotta make do with what I can find around here. For over 60 years I've been going to the Needles Sub but can't do it anymore. Cajon gives me some pretty good spots though so I make do with that location.

First ya gotta get rid of the color noise that comes with low light photos. For that I use Denoise AI. Then I use Adjust AI to bring out the color. "AI" stands for artifical inteligence. Their Denoise program is fantastic and is the best I've ever worked with, I've been able to save photos that would have been in the trash can. It's really the key to being able to extract the color.
