A westbound Z train comes under the intermediate signal at Ft. Madison, Iowa in August 2000. Ft. Madison is the first crew change point on the BNSF transcon west of Chicago.

Lucky you to get an EMD, especially a Sana Fe painted EMD, on the point! I was out a week ago and only saw ONE EMD on a BNSF train. Thanks for posting.
