That Showroom Shine

With the CP Rail taking delivery of their 7000 series SD70ACU locomotives,its always a nice thing to get them before they make a number of trips and the showroom shine fades away. Case in point, CP 288, CP 7054. Photographed in Dresbach MN and again passing the CP Rail tie gang near La Crescent MN.

You sure caught a nice looking CP 7054 in it's showroom shine. I've only seen one in the backyard so far the 7027.

We had one northbound on the BNSF Gateway Sub (in northern California) a couple weeks ago. The only one I've ever seen. The CP Red is pretty sharp when it is clean!
