Western Railroad Discussion > The Other AZ Wreck, PeavineDate: 08/13/20 21:36 The Other AZ Wreck, Peavine Author: mococomike A few weeks before UP made headlines with the Tempe Bridge wreck BNSF quietly piled up a bunch of cars at MP 96 on the Peavine between Grand View and Hillside, AZ This area is very remote with no access roads and BNSF had to bulldoze a nice new road to access and clean up the carnage. Here are some shots of wreckage after the line has been cleared.

Out in the open and away from everything! Date: 08/14/20 09:13 Re: The Other AZ Wreck, Peavine Author: GettingShort Good series Mike.

John Date: 08/15/20 08:12 Re: The Other AZ Wreck, Peavine Author: mococomike Hi John, The new service road is good for normal vehicles, 4x4 not needed unless muddy.
