S&A Heritage/NS 1065 Leading to New Mexico
Author: bnsfsd70

Hi all,
Here are some shots that I got this afternoon of the NS 1065, their Savannah & Atlanta heritage unit rolling through northeastern Kansas on the UP. This was the IKCSI, a relatively short stack train that was headed to Santa Teresa, NM.

Here's some video that I got of the train as it rolled towards Herington.

Nice Catch Jeff!  Hoping NS1065 continues to lead on a Monster Stack of ISILB later this week.  (Crossing Fingers)

Just so long as Long Beach sends it back on the point!  ;-)

Don't worry, it will most likely go back as soon as it gets there.  UP tends to get the NS Heritage Units out pretty quickly, however, with our luck here in Arizona, the time it is leading it will be through in the middle of the night and then the next day it will be a day run and it will be behind a UP Locomotive with it being nosed into the train.  :(

*Not to mention the Tie Gang is out on the Lordsburg Sub starting at Mescal SP 1023 and going East about 10 miles.
