Western Railroad Discussion > Warbonnet Leading on Ottumwa SubDate: 02/23/21 11:47 Warbonnet Leading on Ottumwa Sub Author: Agent This morning, I happened to catch a former Santa Fe Dash 9 leading on the BNSF Ottumwa Sub in southeast Iowa. It looked like to me the train was an empty sand train.

Those little white strips along the top of the cab roof indicate PTC. Pretty cool...not many of these old girls have it...I wasn't aware of any 600 series having it...although I have seen two 4700 series warbonnets that have it. I keep waiting to get one as a leader.....tick, tick, tick.... Date: 02/24/21 09:17 Re: Warbonnet Leading on Ottumwa Sub Author: texchief1 Nice shots!
