The British firm Smith Detection will supply the detectors. The indefinite price, indefinite quantity order was approved in late 2020. Hence, reducing the safety / security risk of producing, transporting and utilizing radioisotope gamma ray sources. Probably lower in cost in the long run, to boot. Just my reading between the lines. ...Lorenzo |
