The Ferry dock at Steilacoom, WA

Here is video of northbound BNSF coal train C-SXMRBC with BNSF 5745/6034 up front and DPU's 7084/4074 on the rear passing the Anderson Island ferry dock and the empty ex-NP depot at Steilacoom, WA south of Tacoma, WA on 7-18-21   Nice pleasant place to watch trains and ferry boats though I don't care much for the canned horn blasts..

Looks like a great spot to relax and watch trains and ferry boats.

Great location and nice video!!  I was able to combine train watching with periodic visits as a contractor to the former McNeil Island Corrections Center (visibile at right center of the video).  The MICC foot ferry departed from the same dock as the car ferry.  Major difference:  super tight security screening and riding with guys in orange jump suits, with hand and ankle "bracelets."

Is it really empty? When I last passed by it appeared there was something in the building. I thought
the signal department still used it for some purpose.

Beautiful day and video.
