Western Railroad Discussion > a side by side for sunday: the right place/right time..........Date: 10/10/21 07:55 a side by side for sunday: the right place/right time.......... Author: goneon66 WARNING: this is an approx. 8" video of a slow 3x1x1 manifest being run around by a z train on the bnsf's seligman sub.
the e/b 3x1x1 manifest has just left valentine, az on main #2 and will shortly enter crozier canyon. just after the manifest's mid-train dpu passes, an e/b z train enters the scene on main #1 and clears just in time to view the rear dpu's of the manifest. sometimes you get lucky and are at the right place at the right time......... 66 Edited 1 time(s). Author: AndyBrown Yep, good timing! Excellent video. Gotta love the Transcon, even if it is just a big ol' Pumpkin parade. I'm no fan of the Gevos, but have to admit that as a tool performing a job, they git 'er done. Those GEs pounding hard all the way across the desert, pushing in Run 8 and just keep grinding away like that's their only purpose in life, moving tonnage, I'll give credit where due.

Author: cookdb3 Yes, you were very lucky to see two trains running on both sides in right time and also right spot! I took video of two trains coming to Kingman Station in bright sunny day, as I never seen like this in my whole live, as I think they don't do this in Australia. I must say to thiank you for your great sharing. The worst problem on trains are effect by awful graffitti on wagons and vans, as it usuallly getting worse for nearly everyday. Okay, thanks again and keeping on videoing!
