Western Railroad Discussion > UP 36th Street Yard Tracks Built over New I-70 AlignmentDate: 10/13/21 12:06 UP 36th Street Yard Tracks Built over New I-70 Alignment Author: cozephyr The Interstate 70 Corridor construction has reached a stage where Union Pacific's tracks are being laid on the new overpass bridge north end 36th Street Yard, Denver, CO, 12 October 2021.
I-70 had a viaduct over the Union Pacific tracks before this new depressed interstate alignment was built starting about two years ago. All images were taken from inbound Rocky Mountaineer passenger train. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 10/13/21 12:13 by cozephyr. Lot going on in Denver, going to be interesting to see how far
