Well, at least UP is "aware"....... Good thing they got rid of all those unnecessary UP Police to improve the OR. Utterly Pathetic.

This is not a decline but simply an adaptation to modern conditions. Date: 11/30/21 10:02 Re: UPRR Intermodal Thieves Author: jst3751 StStephen Wrote:

Yet look at this. I mean - look at that ROW. This has been going on for a while. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 11/30/21 10:36 by restricted_speed. Date: 11/30/21 10:33 Re: UPRR Intermodal Thieves Author: callum_out I go back to my comments from a few weeks ago, Metrolink stops the Lathrop Z for 2 hours at Saugus and an hour at Soledad,
so how hard is it to find a PO unit to go spend some time with the train? Are they truly down to zero PO units in the LA Basin? I agree, the word is pathetic! Not to mention stopping nearly every Z at Tehachapi to close doors, more pathetic! The darling of Wall Street is the dunce of TO!! Out Date: 11/30/21 10:56 Re: UPRR Intermodal Thieves Author: Ex127So The real question is why should FedEx Ground ship via UP anymore? I wouldn't.

Check out what one former FedEx employee did in Alabama. They dumped hundreds of packages into a ravine. https://www.al.com/news/2021/11/questions-surrounding-fedex-pacakges-dumped-in-ravine-could-soon-be-answered-sheriff-says.html?outputType=amp Date: 11/30/21 12:22 Re: UPRR Intermodal Thieves Author: WAF Good job, UP! I hope you go broke paying claims for all this stuff
Date: 11/30/21 12:51 Re: UPRR Intermodal Thieves Author: PHall So is this stuff happening to BNSF trains too? Or is this just a "pick on UP thing"?

Virtual Railfan had a grab bag of open container and trailer doors on Cajon a few weeks ago. Some bad 2-3-4 in a row, other trains had just a few. The thieves were very selective about what they opened. Posted from Android Date: 11/30/21 13:51 Re: UPRR Intermodal Thieves Author: WAF Lackawanna484 Wrote:

Just because scum bags are doing illegal things elsewhere does not give foamers the right to be on private property. The original broken Windows theory of policing called for detaining any turnstile jumper, two seat taker, spitter in the subway or bus, etc. Pat them down, check ID for wants and warrants.
