Nighttime H-DENLAU on Colorado State University's campus...
Author: jmulhol2

A trio of GEVOs lead a ~1-mile-long northbound H-DENLAU manifest freight train seen here passing MP73 on the BNSF Front Range Subdivision on the Colorado State University campus in Fort Collins, CO, during the dinnertime hours of 1/14/2022. This train had just finished a 22-car setout at Highland, CO, and were supposed to set out a motor for the "Longmont Switcher" (BNSF #9976); however, owing to the late of arrival of BNSF #9976 into Denver, CO, this motor was not in this particular train's consist.

Total # of axles = 322 (3 motors; 76 cars)

Power:
BNSF #6992 (GE ES44C4; built: ??/????)
BNSF #7832 (GE ES44DC; built: 03/2010)
BNSF #3255 (GE ES44C4; built: ??/????; Tier 4)
