M-F early morning.Until a couple years ago there was an afternoon Local too.And,if you go back a few years more UP had a roadswitcher assigned to Bend plus a tri weekly hauler out of The Dalles.What about the City of Prineville when do they operate especially uptown by the engine house?Bill Webb

Based on what I’ve seen you’d have to be pretty lucky to find the COP operating near the enginehouse. Most to all of the traffic goes to or from the freight depot out on the edge of town, and that’s where the power is kept. About the only reason they have to go beyond the freight depot is if they are doing something with the many freight cars stored on the line.

Yes only one local M-F on duty at 0600 in Bend. Works between Bend and Madras.
