Western Railroad Discussion > 1-hour-late Amtrak #7 with two Siemens ALC-42 Charger engines...

Amtrak's westbound "Empire Builder" (Train #7), which is running around 1-hour-late, is seen here passing ~MP13 on BNSF's Devils Lake Subdivision in Emerado, ND during the chilly and foggy sunrise hours of 09/18/2022. Note the two trailing Siemens ALC-42 Charger engines as well. Railfan honks also :-)

Nice video Jake. You should be adventurous sometime and chase no. 7 to Minot. You may not catch up to her until Minot. The train will be there as it's a major servicing and inspection stop. Park on the west side of the depot next to Soo Tower. You very well may catch a CP train there as well. Approaching Minot from the east you go by Surrey where the BNSF KO Sub joins the Devils Lake sub.
