Roadway special trailer missing a panel, but still cool!
Has anyone seen these before?

Operation Christmas Child, distribute shoebox-sized cardboard boxes, which are then filled by families with toys, trinkets, and basic necessity items like toothbrushes and shipped off to children in non-first world countries so they can have something to open at Christmas time.

My church is very involved in Operation Christmas Child.  We serve as a regional collection point.  My Sunday School class stuffed 262 boxes about two weeks ago.  It's a year-long project of looking for bargains and closeouts throughout the year.   Another class at my church did slightly over 400 boxes.  Our church will have well over 2000 shoeboxes.

I could not help but chuckle at the irony of an Operation Christmas Child decorated trailer having a hazardous materials placard.

Over 7,000,000 boxes distributed around the world last year.

Cool catch! We've participated with Operation Christmas Child since I was a kid and now my son makes a shoebox with his class each year! He was very excited to see this picture and is going to take a print out to show his classmates on Monday! Thanks for sharing!
